Cricketbath is the community outreach activity of Bath Cricket Club.  Our initiative was launched in 2006 to increase delivery, participation and learning opportunities for children of school age in the local community. This includes partnerships with local schools (particularly state schools) and other cricket clubs.

A key aim is to ensure that any interest established by young people is linked with exit routes into local clubs (not just Bath Cricket Club) to sustain participation.

Activities provided include;

• School Curriculum Coaching
• School Holiday Courses
• Taster sessions
• Kwik Cricket Tournaments

Using partnerships with our own and local clubs' qualified coaches, sessions are currently delivered in schools and cricket clubs within Bath & North East Somerset.

Long-term objectives include:

• Increased active participation in state schools
• Increased active participation in local clubs
• Balanced participation in cricket clubs of youth from state and private schools
• Support more professional qualified coaches in the community.
