King Edward’s School forms strong partnership with Bath Cricket Club

King Edward’s School and Bath Cricket Club are excited to announce a new partnership with Bath Cricket Club.

The partnership comes at a really exciting time for both King Edward’s School and Bath Cricket Club. As KES embark on a new season with new Head of Cricket Gregg Brown and Bath unveils their new indoor training venue there is much to look forward to. The partnership will see access to transport provided by King Edward’s School and the School will benefit from the opportunity to use the facilities at Bath Cricket Club. Pupils are looking forward to playing matches at the prestigious Bath Cricket Club ground on North Parade and using the indoor and outdoor nets for training.

Director of Sport, Louisa Gwilliam said… “King Edward’s School is delighted to have formed a partnership with Bath Cricket Club. Both the School and Bath Cricket Club share a passion for sport and for developing the next generation of sports men and women. We are aiming to enhance the ability of both organisations to provide excellent sporting provision and raise the profile for cricket within KES and the community.”

Rob Maggs, Bath Cricket Club Manager, is equally as enthusiastic about the partnership, he said...”Bath Cricket Club are delighted to partner with King Edward’s School.  It makes sense to share resources and work together to promote the profile of cricket within the local community. It is a great partnership which can only go from strength to strength. “
