All teams still in contention for League titles

 

For the first time in the club's history all teams are still in contention for league titles with two matches to go here is an update for each team.

 

1st XI

The 1st XI are 23 points behind leaders Frocester who they face in the last match of the season so are still relying on other results but could go into the last match with a chance of the title. They are also into the Semi-final of the ECB National Club Championships where they face Blackheath on the 30th Aug.

Remaining league matches;

22nd Aug Illminster vs Bath, Frocester vs Taunton Deane
29th Aug Bath vs Frocester 

2nd XI

Alex Muse's young side looking to win the 2nd XI title after a four year gap lead Bridgwater by just three points as we go into the last matches. It has been nip and tuck all season despite Bath completing the double over their title rivals.

Remaining league matches;

22nd Aug Bath vs Bristol, Bridgwater vs Swindon
29th Aug Thornbury vs Bath, Bridgwater vs Bristol

 

3rd XI

A run of 9 sucessive wins has taken Mike Roe's team to within touching distance of the clubs first NSL Div 1 title since 2006. A win over title rivals Backwell last week took the team to the top of the table for the first time this season. Both teams are level on 52 points Bath top only on number of away wins. Chilcompton in 3rd place are still in the hunt and Saturdays match is crucial.

22nd Aug Bath vs Chilcompton, Bristol vs Backwell
29th Aug  Bath vs Bristol, Backwell vs Stanton Drew

 

4th XI


The 4th XI take on Combe Down on Saturday and only a win will keep their hopes alive of retaining the title as they currently sit 7 points behind with only 8 to play for.

Remaining league matches;

22nd Aug Combe Down vs Bath
29th Aug Harptree vs Bath, Combe Down vs Exiles

 

Wanderers 

 

The Wanderers currently top the Womens Southern Premier League and wins in their last two matches will see them take the league crown. This is a great effort with the club also entering the South and West Womens Regional Premier League and at times splitting the teams between the two leagues.

23rd Aug Wokingham vs Bath
