Bath CC to face Paignton CC in Vitality Club T20 Area Finals Day

After Bath CC reached the Vitality Club T20 Area Finals by beating Midsomer Norton 1st XI and Potterne 1st XI in the WEPL T20 Finals, the club’s 1st XI will be travelling to Bridgwater CC this Sunday to compete in the Area Finals Day.

Starting at 10am, Semi Final 1 will see Bath CC take on Devon qualifier, Paignton. In the second Semi Final starting at 1pm, St Fagans CC will face Penzance CC with the winners meeting in the final taking place at 4pm. 

Jack Scrivens, who helped Bath get to the Area Finals by scoring 69 and 52 in the WEPL T20 Finals, will skipper on the day, and said: “We're delighted to have won the WEPL T20 and secure our place in the national stages. We're looking forward to heading to Bridgwater CC on 9 August, where we'll be aiming to put in two strong performances and progress to the next round. It will also be our overseas professional, Harry Dixon's, final match for the club this season, so we're hoping we can make it a memorable one.”

 The winner of the Area Finals progresses to the Regional Finals at Basingstoke & North Hants CC on Sunday 30th August. The National Final will then be at Worcestershire CCC on Sunday 20th September.
