Bath’s 3rd XI trip to Bristol to face Shirehampton’s 1st XI ended in disappointment as the home side coasted to an eight wicket victory.

After winning the toss and electing to bat first, Bath struggled to get any sort of partnership going as they slipped from 20-1 to 77 all out in just 26 overs. Pick of the Shirehampton bowlers were Lewis Mason (4-38) and Lewis Palmer (3-3).

Although Bath seamer, Rob Patch (2-30) removed both Nick Rose (3) and Richard Woods (4) in quick succession, skipper Lewis Mason (42*) and Aidan Keen (15*) took the home side to an eight wicket win in just the 13th over. Despite this result, Bath are still well positioned in the league, third from top.
