Bath CC 4th XI v Abbots Leigh CC 1st XI

After winning the toss and electing to bat, the home side struggled throughout their innings on a wicket that offered movement and a variation in bounce to the Bath bowlers. Thiaan Aspeling picked up three early wickets (3-19), and although Jonny Weber hit a solid 63, a spell of 6-23 from Bharath Chandrasekaran tore through the Abbots Leigh middle and lower order to bowl the home side out for 131 in the 33rd over of their innings.

Unfortunately, Bath’s reply only made it to the start of the 4th over as rain hit and abandoned the match with the away side on 10-1.
